Stafford Rangers are delighted to announce the signing of defensive midfielder Remi Efunnuga.

Remi, 21, joins the club having played across the North-West region at both Step 3 & 4 bringing further steel into the midfield area.
Having started his career at Stoke City‘s academy, Remi went on to Port Vale before moving into non-league football, via a spell in Croatia playing for HNK Zmaj.
Last season he plied his trade with Ashton United in the NPL Premier, and went on loan at Newcastle Town and Atherton Collieries respectively.

George Stephens reflected on Remi’s signing:
“Remi is a lad who has been on our radar for a long time. The Gaffer has wanted him for a good while now so when it became a possibility we had to move quickly.
He offers us something different to what we have in terms of being a physically imposing defensive midfielder, with power and energy to get up and down the pitch, but alongside that he is really good technically and has ball carrying ability.
He is a real positive character and someone we know the fans will instantly warm to.
We all look forward to seeing Remi step out onto the pitch at Marston Road”
Welcome to the club Remi Efunnuga
