After a period of supporting the 1^st Team Management with recruitment and scouting since Jan 2026, George joined the 1^st Team Management following Graham Deakin’s appointment as permanent 1^st Team Manager in June 2026.

Following 8 years of reporting on games/players through the Professional Football Scouts Association, 4 years in the EFL working in Cat 2 and Cat 3 academies and 3 years as Recruitment Lead at Skouted Holdings Ltd, George linked up with The Boro as 1^st Team Scout, jointly overseeing the recruitment strategy and process with Graham Deakin over the summer.
